When I worked at id Software, I used to make all of our DOOM animation team videos for the sprint review to the entire team. This happened about once a month. I always liked how EA treated its logo and logos in general, so I tried to give each video a special treatment for the logo. The first two did not have this and were more of skit videos than actual footage, but by the third video(first here), it grew into a sort of template. This was useful because sometimes I only had a few hours to make the team video, unless I wanted to stay all night. They weren’t too bad to make because I usually had quite a bit of footage from the team to work with, but I didn’t want to or couldn’t spend too much time on the title treatment. Occasionally, if I had a specific idea, I might do some extra work at home, but in general tried to keep it quick and simple. The format was the anim team title followed by the id logo, then all of our footage and would wrap again with the logo smaller and a date. If I did something really unique with the front logo, I would repeat that with the end logo if possible. Usually there was a certain theme to each video depending out what we had worked on during that time, but here I’m just showing the beginning and end of each. There are two that were very basic for certain reasons, but I included them to show the continuity and how useful it was to actually have a format or template.
