DOOM · CACODEMON

I didn’t do too much ai animation for DOOM, but I did get to do the Cacodemon. It was a fun character to animate and more challenging than one would think. A lot of people dismissed it as just a floating ball and wouldn't be much work, but to make it look believable requires a good deal of effort. The Cacodemon also has that extra big arm in the front which was always odd to deal with as well as a large tongue, back legs, multiple jaws, and rows of teeth. Much of its flying movement is controlled by code, but I tried to get some personality in where I could. These are some of my favorites from its move set as well as a few motion tests.
